Kirsty and Ross married last September at the beautiful Buchanan Arms Hotel in Drymen. It was a beautiful day and they spent it with there family and friends.
I met Kirsty and her bride tribe at her parents house where the make up and hair team were in full swing glamming up these beautiful ladies. I was able to capture some beautiful images of Kirsty’s gorgeous wedding dress, shoes, perfume and other personal details. The champagne was flowing and the girls enjoyed their time being pampered and looked after by Kirsty’s parents. Once I had all the bridal preparation images I then drove over to drymen and met Ross and his best men.
The boys were ready and waiting greeting guests as they arrived and ushered them to the conservatory and they all looked fabulous in their kilts.
Kirsty and her dad arrived in style in a beautiful vintage car, she looked absolutely amazing and arm and arm with her proud dad. The bridesmaids were gorgeous and floated down the isle with a few happy tears.
The ceremony was fabulous and lead by Sandy Geddes a fabulous celebrant. A very personal ceremony filled with love, laughter and wonderful memories. Kirsty and Ross exchanged rings and the first kiss was fabulous! (No quick peck from these two!)
We then went out to a quiet location for some personal images before heading back for some groups before the wedding breakfast. The speeches were absolutely fabulous, Kirsty’s dad had some brilliant stories to tell about Kirsty and some about Ross too I have to say it was a fantastic father of the bride speech I was in stitches. Ross and the best man had a lot to live up to but they also smashed there speeches and had us all laughing.
After the wedding breakfast we ventured back out for some more personal images, catching the last of the summer light and capturing some gorgeous images of them both as the sun set.
Once the evening party and first dances were underway I set up a photo-booth for the guests and their guests loved it! I had a que of guests waiting patiently to take advantage of the photo-booth and my endless options of silly glasses, hats and other treasures I have.
All in all Kirsty and Ross had a fantastic wedding day and I had an amazing time with there family and friends capturing wonderful memories for them both.
I hope you have enjoyed the images I have shared today.
Lauren.
