Heather and Alasdair married in a beautiful ceremony at the newly refurbished Gleddoch House Hotel. It was a first for me at this stunning hotel and hopefully won’t be the last. Heather and Alasdair married in July and ended up with beautiful sunshine and warm weather which was fantastic for me to capture their day in fantastic conditions.
Heather and Alasdair love castles, Alasdair proposed to Heather at a castle and we shot their engagement session at Dumbarton castle. Gleddoch is suituated high up in the hills so has a fabulous view of Dumbarton castle so naturally we had to get some snaps with this stunning background as well as using the wonderful grounds that Gleddoch also has to offer.
Heather also had a request to have a few images of their gorgeous cat as she was unable to attend the wedding and Heather had something made for her. How super cute does their “Cat of Honour” look? awwwww she is super cute but then hid from me the rest of the morning.
Later in the evening we went out onto the golf course and took advantage of the gorgeous golden hour light that summer has to offer and we were able to capture some extra images which are my absolute favorites. Heather and Alasdair then practiced there first dance which they had choreographed by Heathers dance teacher as a surprise for their guests and what an amazing dance it was. Their guests were blown away with how much effort they had put in to there first dance as Husband and wife.
I hope you all enjoy the images below.
