Mr and Mrs Murphy married at the gorgeous lochside house hotel in march 2017.
Becky and paul are a wonderful couple full of love and laughter. When I first met them both for a coffee I could tell straight away that their wedding day would be special and one to remember. Moving on to their fantastic engagement shoot at Victoria park, we met up on one of the last of the autumn days of 2016. We took a walk around the park and I shot some beautiful images of them both whilst catching up and letting them get used to me snapping away. Their images turned out fantastic and Becky came up with a name for paul “model face” as he was not fond of having his picture taken however has a fantastic cheeky smile and takes a great photo even if he doesn’t like it very much.
Fast forward to their wedding day and it was Wow! They had it all, the glorious sunshine, a beautiful setting and a room full of family and friends to watch as they tied the knot. The ceremony was fantastic and led by Norrie flowers, watching Becky and paul laughing and smiling as Norrie spoke about them both was a joy to watch and to also capture some beautiful natural images. They opted for a ring warming where all there nearest and dearest had the privilege of warming their wedding bands before they said their vows. They also done the hand fasting and both parents lit candles to mark the joining of two families which I think is absolutely beautiful.
Once the ceremony was over we then headed outside to take some personal portraits of them both which they rocked, their engagement shoot paid off enormously! We walked round the grounds of the lochside and shot some beautiful images around the pond and over the beautiful bridge. We then shot the groups and then went inside for the wedding breakfast and speeches. The speeches were fabulous with beckys mum starting them off, paul had us all in tears with his amazing speech and Paul’s brother had us laughing with all of Paul’s tales he shared.
The evening went with out a hitch, Becky and paul cut their beautiful wedding cake then went on to do their first dance as husband and wife with the rest of the bridal party joining in.
They had a wonderful day and I am so privileged to have been a part of it all. The lochside house hotel is a stunning hotel with a beautiful backdrop for outdoor wedding images. I would reccomend this venue to any couples looking to marry in the Ayrshire area.
